Zaca Cabinets - how it all started.
In the beginning, there was a dream.
A dream about something rather banal, the residential medicine
cabinet. A rather basic commodity that no one paid much attention to in
spite of numerous consumer outcries for improvements.
The dreamer knew the complaints well. His family founded and operated
one of the leading metal medicine cabinet manufacturing companies, and
his father invented the modern medicine cabinet.

Some nights our dreamer awoke hearing these complaints in his head. But one night when he awoke, he decided to do something about it. He got up, without disturbing his still sleeping wife, padded into the adjacent office, turned on a small light and began to draw. |
His pencil took on a life of its own,
swirling and circling the paper, fast and furious, driven by long
suppressed creative urges that were now flowing out of him. When his
pencil finally stopped, he blinked at the beautiful design in front of
him. He felt good, relieved and ready to go back to sleep. He turned off
the light, not knowing the story that was about to unfold...
Thus, Zaca SpaceCab Medicine Cabinets was born...beginning with a
simple idea: take something ordinary and make it extraordinary.

Every 36" Cabinet features a mirror on the outside of the door and a mirror on the inside of the door. They also have 12 adjustable shelves which are dishwasher safe for ease of cleaning. You will find that Zaca SpaceCabs hold approximately 30% more than metal cabinets.
Our edges limit injuries as there are no sharp metal edges. Notice that our Cabinet doors stay open when they are supposed to and stay shut when they are closed. The molded cabinets will never rust or support mildew growth.

Zaca's medicine
cabinets are injection molded from high impact polystyrene. All
the parts are recyclable.
The cabinets feature a vertical interior divider with variable shelf arrangements and are available in black or white. The cabinets fit the standard 16-inch gap between studs in a wall, so they don't project into the bathroom. They come in 26-inch and 36-inch heights. Doors can mount to swing either right or left. And the mirror edges are sealed to resist silver damage. All are all beautifully designed with simple, clean lines, and beautiful mirrors that complement almost any decor.
